RESUMO

Mapping states with explicit gluonic degrees of freedom in the light sector is a challenge, and has led to controversies in the past. In particular, the experiments have reported two different hybrid candidates with spin-exotic signature, π_{1}(1400) and π_{1}(1600), which couple separately to ηπ and η^{'}π. This picture is not compatible with recent Lattice QCD estimates for hybrid states, nor with most phenomenological models. We consider the recent partial wave analysis of the η^{(')}π system by the COMPASS Collaboration. We fit the extracted intensities and phases with a coupled-channel amplitude that enforces the unitarity and analyticity of the S matrix. We provide a robust extraction of a single exotic π_{1} resonant pole, with mass and width 1564±24±86 and 492±54±102 MeV, which couples to both η^{(')}π channels. We find no evidence for a second exotic state. We also provide the resonance parameters of the a_{2}(1320) and a_{2}^{'}(1700).

RESUMO

The research was aimed at studying molecular genetics basis of human longevity. The genotyping of polymorphisms in genes of interleukin 6 (IL-6, 7p21, -572G>C, rs1800796), 10 (IL-10, 1q31-q32, -627C>A, rs1800792), 12, (IL-12B, 5q31.1-q33.1, -1159C>A) and tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-alpha, 6p21.3, -308G>A, rs1800629) from ethnically homogeneous population (Tatars from Bashkortostan Republic) has been carried out. Distributions of allele and genotypes frequencies in different age groups including old men and long-livers have been characterized. Associations have been revealed between age and -627C>A polymorphism of IL-10 gene in men, -572G>C polymorphism of IL-6 gene and -308G>A polymorphism of TNF-alpha gene in women. As a whole the data obtained by us confirm the assumption that polymorphism of cytokine genes can influence on human lifespan.

RESUMO

On sample of 1534 ethnic Tatars catalase (CAT, -262C/T), glutathione peroxidase 1 (GPX1, L198P) and methionine sulfoxide reductase A (MSRA, -402C/T) gene polymorphisms in connection with lifespan were studied. On each separate polymorphic marker nonlinear character of alleles and genotypes frequencies changes with age was revealed. Combinations of genotypes CAT*C/*T-GPX1 *L/*L were significant for elderly and senile age.

Comparison in genotype and allele frequencies of people groups of younger (from 1 till 20 years), middle (21-55 years), elderly (56-74 years), senile (75-89 years) age and long-livers (90-109 years) have been performed (only 1116 person) with the purpose of analysis of molecular-genetic bases of ageing and longevity of the person. Allele variants of PON1 gene have been identified by polymerase chain reaction in a combination with restriction analysis. In the general sample of Tatars genotypes PON1*Q/*Q, PON1*Q/*R and PON1*R/*R are revealed with frequencies of 46.15, 44.35 and 9.5%, alleles PON1*Q and PON1*R are found with frequencies of 68.32 and 31.68% accordingly. Statistically significant distinctions on frequencies of genotypes and alleles between separate age groups are found. It has appeared, that frequency of PON1*R allele (28.46%) is lowered among old men in comparison with those among persons of younger age (37.42%, P = 0.009). However essentially above in group of long-livers, than in group of old men, frequencies allele PON1*R (P = 0.005) and genotype PON1*R/*R (P = 0.01).

RESUMO

The results of the epidemiological analysis of the outbreak of hemorrhagic fever which was caused by Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever virus and occurred during the period of July 3-19, 1999, in the Oblivskaya district of Rostov Province are presented. The specific epidemiological features of the outbreak have been determined. The possible versions of the appearance of the focus of infection and the role of Ixodes ticks in the circulation of the infective agent are discussed.
